Sincere Enquiries from a Doctor…Is It Real (amulets)…Is It Necessary?

My problem is believing. Putting expectation that things will be good if u got this or that amulet. 

One doesn’t need to believe in Thai amulets even if you are a Buddhist. It is a very personal thing. But we need to believe in the Buddha and the Dhamma. Buddha has never said that wearing an amulet can make things better.

Putting expectation that things will be good if you got this or that amulet, in my opinion it is human nature. We human always hope for the better isn’t it, irregardless if its about amulets or not.  Imagine if all Doctors said we will not live past midnite and we have nothing else on earth to ever hope for, we will die for sure. Whether it is Thai amulet or not, we will always have expectations.

I only have one neck. How do I know which is better than the other. So many types, so many functions.

This too is very personal. Some people mistaken hobbies or likings for necessities. But it is their neck, they can hang all they want. But I have always said,

Ittirit…loses to Boonyarit…..loses to Kammarit…

One can wear many amulets but will lose to one whom practises virtues and meritorious danas. But even good Buddhist whom practises virtues and meritorious danas is at the mercy of bad karmas coming to fruition.

How do I know which is better than the other?  I seldom will say, “Is this amulet good for me?” . It should be am I good enough for this amulet. Because most of you will look at amulet as an end product or thing (you are not wrong) but it is an extension of Buddha’s barami or Reverend Luang Phor’s barami. Such barami combined with a person’s conduct can actually help soften one’s unwholesome karmic retribution from current or the past. The higher or better the Reverend’s practise is the better his barami.

There are many approach to this answer because it can get very technical many don’t know. One may,

  1. Collect by preference in terms of kind of amulets eg. Phra Somdej,,Phra KhunPaen…etc
  2. Collect by preference of the Gaeji Archan or LuangPhor
  3. Collect by objective eg. general auspicious purposes or specific protection from arms or other dangers
  4. Collect by preference of temple eg Wat Rakhang or Wat Sotorn
  5. Collect by specific occasion or puthaphisek eg. Saoha collections or large puthaphisek that has 2,500 Gaeji Archan from allover Thailand participating example 2500 Sattawat
  6. Collect in accordance to Astroamulet.

Is is real? Is it necessary? 

I believe the question is referring to the miracles or so-called powers of the amulets. Yes and No!

Yes, if you believe in it and No if you don’t.

But can it do the impossible? Just look at Thailand’ ex-PM, Thaksin. If amulets have such power to grant the impossible like the genie in the sacred lamp/bottle. He would have still remained the PM and living comfortably in Thailand. The question isn’t about whether it can deliver miracles. The question is about your definition of a miracle, don’t listen to amulet traders’ impossible stories and their miracles. To me even waking up tomorrow, is a miracle. We take too much things for granted.

Is it necessary? No, amulets are not necessary for us to practise to be a good Buddhist. We need only Sila (morality), Samadhi (concentration) and Panna (wisdom). This is the amulet you should wear or adopt as a Buddhist…in yr heart. Then again life should be learn theoretically but lived practically…put your right hand over your chest and ask yourself sincerely, do you have the right Sila, Samadhi and Panna now in your practise as a Buddhist or has it always only been an aspiration (to practise) only to be renewed again the as next New Year Resolution. So that is why some of us like amulets, we hang them over our neck and say a little prayer. It makes us feel that we are closer to the Triple Gem and reminds of of our practise.

Take a look at the trees around us. The bark of a tree is likened to an amulet that helps to protect and strengthen the core (the aspiring Buddhist) in its growth cycle.

What is Astroamulet?

If you believe that planets namely; Sun, Mercury, Venus, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and the two shadow planets Rahu and Kethu, shapes our destiny and influence our daily lives. We can derive from the chart, our potential, problems and see what is suitable from there. Let me give you an example,

In the above chart, Mr. Amulet Thai is born a Taurus (Lagna) with Mars (Ma) and Moon (Mo) in conjuction. That means though he is down to earth, he is short tempered or impulsive (due to Mars influence) and emotional or fickle-minded (due to Moon’s influence). I would advise him to wear an amulet made from earth or can be powder or herbs (due to Taurus belonging to earth) too. And preferably an image of Buddha in samadhi position or even Saturday Buddha (Phra Nagphrok) because a person’s mental being impulsive, short-tempered, emotional and fickle-minded can only be overcome with strong samadhi (concentration) and mindfulness energies/qualities emanating from such amulets. If for an image of Reverend Luang Phor, will preferably a Gaeji Archan from the past especially from the meditation lineage eg Ven. Chao Khun Nor, Ven. LPu Kasem, Ven. Ac Mun…etc because such Teachers’ barami has a strong influence in anchoring a person defilements. His 2nd house is occupied by Saturn (Sa), that would mean he is a person whom is worrisome or lacked happiness. He could be troubled with family issues (own family). As 2nd house is the House of Income, it shows that he is regularly affected by his own financial issues. Earnings are unstable and if he runs a business on credit, chances are that he will have difficulty even collecting money. So if this person comes for advise, I will recommend that he wears a Phra Nagphrok (a representation of Saturn) which also has image of Buddha in deep meditation plus a guardian Naga protecting Him in challenging times.

We all want to know about our karmas, if you know how to read the chart above. Saturn is The Karmic Reaper, he will indicate to you in this life you got to watch out for what. In the example chart above. He will face karmic retribution in areas of;

  1. family or real estate/immovable properties
  2. accidents, deaths, bankruptcy, black magic or spiritual problems
  3. failure, accomplishing work but no reward, friends that will give problems

Such will indicate that an amulet with Buddha’s image made by a good Gaeji Archan, known for their high barami would help to soften such impact in the event it materializes.

The Astroamulets example above in a mock up, it doesn’t indicate a real person. The findings are generalized just to show u how to identify which amulet is important to you. In actual practise we study the entire chart all the effective significators and how it affect you and decides from there.

This chart above will illustrate to you why some of you experienced that once a upon a time, that particular amulet you are wearing seem so efficacy but now when you need it most. It was like it is broken or became irresponsive.

The chart on the left is his original birth chart whereas the one on the right is the current day chart. You may see that most of the planets moved, that is why our life is always changing. So what works before , may seem to not work now ( but it has nothing to do with the amulet unless you didn’t take good care of it ). These are the effects of the planets.

This chart will show you why at a certain time in our life, we are affected mainly by the issues the planets signify. For example in year 2017, this gentleman will be affected by Jupiter (Ju) from major period 2009 until 2022 and Venus minor period from 27th Jan 2017 till 27th Sept 2019. So let’s say Jupiter signifies his business, in year 2009 till 2022. Much issues regarding his business will be of importance during these period. If Jupiter isn’t well placed in his life, chances are that it will be a period of struggle. And the minor period will show which year the problems gets more serious, indifference or better.

Because the enquiries was raised by a doctor, I believe he will be more receptacle to some kind of scientific explanations ( to me astrology is science). Hope my sharing helps.

Cannot save money! If money comes in, suddenly…

This is one of the most frequently asked question posed to me when it comes to astrology. Those whom have been following my site since the beginning would have knew how to improve on this problem in terms of boonyarit ways. Let me now share with you one of the ittirit ways to help overcome and improve  money problems.

This is an image of Phra Rahu crafted from Kala Mai Mi Tha ( my personal, not for sale ). Kala Mai Mi Tha means no-eyed coconut. In Vedic astrology, generally a person with his Second Bhava (House of Income) being afflicted by Phra Rahu will have the above problem. Therefore we collect a pair of coconut, singled-eye and no-eyed coconut, then request a Gaeji Archan or Karawat whom is specialized in consecrating Phra Rahu (not every Gaeji can) to craft the image of Phra Rahu and then inscribe or engrave the necessary yants on it. After ploksek, then invite both the Phra Rahu and revere at your altar.

Those friends whom I have brought up with me on my trips to collect the coconuts were the lucky ones because its still attached to the husk. They have seen it the actual thing. these days everything can be made to look real, even such coconuts.

Place your yant duangs into the holder and some auspicious yants on top of your yant duangs, then place the Phra Rahu coconut on it. There are a set of kathas to be chanted, these rahu kathas aren’t the usual ones you can get on the internet. If you can regularly perform the prayers with great devotion, you can see for yourself.

Special Collections of Ven. LP Seua Wat DonYaiPeuan

This is 5″ MeedMoh Roon Raek Ven. LP Seua. Ven. LP Seua cldnt remember clearly which year Ven. made them. Made little only. Knife holder is made of ivory and sheath is made of wood. I suspect its should be in the region 2536-2540.

This is 2nd batch also 5″ , sponsored by SaengThai.  Both knife holder and sheath are ivory. the Ivory ones are made less than 10, not inclusive of Ven. LP’s own meed moh. The ivory wasn’t bought, it was donated by a fellow disciple of Ven. LP Seua. Meedmoh Ven. LP Seua is much sought after because Venerable is known for his wicha in exorcism and those days when Khun YaiPeuan (Ven.’s benefactor also the donor of Wat DonYaiPeuan land, the 1st to help Ven. LP Seua) was still around. Ven. LP Doem of Wat NongPho, Nakorn Sawan rode 4days 3nights on elephant to visit Khun YaiPeuan. It is an unforgettable history that villagers around temple at Wat Donyaipeuan still lives to tell. The lady whom I call her “Yai” shared this with me, she was already 95 years of age. She said she was still a little girl then.

All lockets that Ven. LP seua made in the past, especially this one above was made only 100pieces in total. 30 pieces with gold takrut and 70 with silver takrut (as above). This is considered roon raek locket with such pong and handwrite takruts by Ven. LP Seua. This was made year 2551 in conjucntion with Ven. LP’s birthday. Ven. LP added much pong saksit in this locket, one can see them also here. There are some visible cracks at the side because took off from casing. One can see Ven. LP’s handwrite yants on the locket too, left and right of his image.

This locket was made not long after the black one above. Special request by Mo Chukiat, a lay disciple whom was learning healing formulas from Ven. LP Seua. He has brought in influential people to make offerings to Ven. LP Seua. Even the sponsor for the Main Buddha image in Ubosot was through him. Made only 16 pieces. The tiger rooplor was 1st batch, 2 relic rice grains that became stones (the Thais takes it as a symbolic of prosperity), handwrite takrut and what appeared to be relics or sacred remnants. This image of Ven. LP Thong has many miracles.

LP Seua is very fond of making Phra Sivali because Reverend believes that this Arahant bring luck and auspiciousness. Reverend always tell me that Phra Sivali is good for sales and business. One of Ven. LP Seua’s formula of consecrating amulets until they becomes potent with much luck factor and great Metta is by chanting Phra Katha Phra Sivali. Very difficult to find, seldom collectors let go.

This is a prized collection, hard to get. I have known Ven. LP Seua coming 10 years now, this is the only bucha I have seen. Bucha LP Thong 5 inches Roon 2 in 2549, of all the 5 inches buchas Ven. LP Seua made, Roon 2 has the closes resemblance with the actual LP Thong’s look. This is a sacred/saksit bucha, not for display and not for people whom are not serious with tending to their buchas with reverence and offerings.

Yes, it has gold on it. This is Ven. LP Seua’s own takrut, Reverend worn it himself in the early days.

  • The number ‘2’ represents regular income and it is under the influence of the planet Venus, a materialistic planet that loves much earthly enjoyments. If number ‘2’ is weak in our astrological combinations at birth, that will mean this person will always face problems with income.

FAQ: Is amulets or pendants necessary?

In my opinion, no. Especially when you dont even know why you want it the 1st place. What is more important than amulets or pendants are our practise or cultivation as a Buddhist (I know it sounds lame and seem to be repeating myself like a broken record but I will share with you the reason) . Honestly if I am still running around from one thai-amulet shop to another like when I was younger, I bet I will still be running in circles, not knowing Dhamma. Anyway most of them (amulet traders) seldom guide you, they will only condition your mind to always want to collect more, the more expensive the better. Sometimes I laughed when I overheard conversations like, ” You should buy this, it can help to give you very good luck and money.” It will ring in my mind the following question, “Will you give away The Golden Goose that lays Golden eggs?” Tough luck, not in this society, a selfish oriented society. I always tell my friends or visitors, if praying to Phra images or buchas or wearing amulets can give you very good luck and money, me or my teacher would have been a millionaire a long time ago and Thaksin Sinawatra didn’t have to leave his beautiful homeland and take refuge in another country. Panna or wisdom must be use to see things as it really is.

THEN WHAT IS AMULETS OR PHRA IMAGES FOR?

Theorectically, it was meant to be a souvenir or momento because monk, they whom are not supposed to have any possesion will have nothing to give you for your kind donations. So they made figurines or images of Buddhas or Arahants or other auspicious items eg yantras on metals foils…etc to give you as a token of appreciation. Practising monks whom are attained in science of directing energy and matters (earth, wind, water and fire ) enable them to infuse and transfer blessings with just mental power into images or souvenirs. Feedbacks from the laities on their experiences of miracles or improvements in their life, reinforced the Sanghas confidence that their attainment in such science can be use to enhance their follower’s livelihood and also protect them from certain danger. It has a chain effect, it goes back to reinforcing laities’s faith in the Triple Gem and Sanghas’ virtues. Such great Metta acts like a strong magnet, drawing more people to temples and for some a start into discovering the Dhamma that Buddha expounded, converting mere sceptics to firm practising Buddhist. Theorectically then or at least for me it was like that. Those whom I had shared with them my experience and journey into the Dhamma, started from wearing an amulet (not Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang, just standard phim Ven.LP Pern Wat BhangPhra medallion) and hearing a beautiful divine voice that helped prevented misfortunes. That year in 1999, the same divine voice saved me thrice! It was then I was amazed with this thing called Thai amulet. But I am more than glad, I discovered more than just amulets, I discovered Dhamma which it’s value transcend more than a lifetime.

lpdam2017And the rest is what you are seeing now, it became very commercial. Sadly but that is how things are and that will also separate antique amulets and commercial ones. The science of endowing the amulets with blessing potents are determine by Jit (mind). I remembered Ven. LP Dam told us that this particular Phra Pidta ( will show you later) is the best in terms of purity and very potent of blessings because it was made solely for Kathina celebrations. To to be given to laities whom donated Kathina robes. Reverend said the entire meditating session was very bright…very still…no thoughts about doing this for money at all. True enough, as I remembered shortly after Reverend passed away, an IS extremist threw a hand grenade into the mini shops outside (not far from) of Wat Mai temple. Everyone ran helter-skelter but it failed to blow-up. That is the barami of Pothan Dam. Now that I am writing about Than (him), I miss Pothan Dam. Very attained but yet very , very humble.

Nowadays, good Gaeji Archan are like diamonds, only getting rarer. In current times, young monks in their 30s or 40s call themselves Gaeji, promoting this and that. Ven. LP Seua Wat DonPhaiYai (Wat DonYaiPeaun) also attained and advance in his practise, will tell you no I am not famous, I am just an average monk doing the best I can. Now Ven. LP Seua has been a popular choice to be invited for puthaphisek because Ven. can sit and meditate long, for an hour or two. Many so called Gaeji, fell asleep the 1st 15mins of the ceremony. There was an occasion where after the puthaphisek ceremony suddenly other Gaejis whom are leaving suddenly descend to ground and offer full prostration because they saw Ven. LP Thong also came for puthaphisek with Ven. LP Seua in spirit form.

Coming back to our topic as per, does one really need amulets?

NO if you don’t know what is it about.

NO if you think it can make you rich or take away your problems.

NO if you dont respect Buddha’s teachings and the Sanghas practise.

Then you may ask, then why did you wear so many?

That is because I knew what it is all about and how it can help to enhance my practise. But more importantly, it is a hobby to me to wear some of my unique collection and one must know why they want to wear such and such. Some people has this wrong impression that  wearing alot can have more power. NO not exactly, if its such, can throw them away. Good Gaeji will never want you to depend on such for powers because such powers are already in you. But because when we cultivate, we are not there yet, we borrow our teachers’ barami. That is also why I would suggest that one meditates, chants and perform danas and from time to time upkeep the 5 or 8 precepts. There has been many miraculous incidences in Thailand where people whom takes up precepts and meditate or a person whom practises good Buddhist values, were rob and shot at gunpoint. Survived the ordeal because the gun could not fire up. They didn’t wear any amulets. So therefore it is our practise as a fellow good Buddhist that all good Gaeji aspire us to become from wearing their amulets. When we wear them we must reflect on their barami and their practise and vow to achieve the same.

Of course let’s not forget that for some people, they take it as a serious collection, going into details of the Gaeji, his past glory, his attainment and etc. To me as long as you are not into because of superstition but take it as a serious hobby. Then I personally think it’s fine. Well this topic can be lengthy or is it just me. There isn’t any right and wrong with this matter, afterall wearing or collecting amulets is a very personal thing. But I just do hope that collectors in general should go into understanding them deeper their sense of existence then perhaps you may understand the intrinsic value of it. Maybe because I am much involve in the back process of helping to make them for Reverends’ needs and am influence by my Teachers’ especially Archan Phrachuap of Samnak KhaorOr Pattalung. From the conceptual part to the last part where the piti puthaphisek, I was given the opportunity to be involve. The making of an amulet is more than meets the eye and the barami that’s being infused into it is no joke. I remember reading about Ven. LPhor Suk Wat Makahm Tao, Than(he) ploksek everyday his amulets. It is part of his daily routine. I was so overwhelmed by just reading his efforts.

Last but not least, amulets are not superstition. It is a science creation using traditional method…the mind. Scientist and researchers are still researching into the mind, it is still a large mystery to them but to my MahaGurus, Rishis and Sanghas whom are attained, they have known the mind since aeon ago. It is a collection of science, art and religious symbol, all in one!

I also want to be thankful to all my Teachers abovementioned and by their baramis, I was able to learn from scriptures of one of Pothan Kron’s close disciple (the Archan had passed away years ago). However this family wants to remain anonymous, so I will not mention any names. These formula books were very strange, attempts to show you all the bigger photo failed, without apparent reasons. No matter how I load  it, doesn’t show (other photos was uploaded without problems) . I wanted to highlight a bigger photo because one may see the texture and conditions of how old the books were. It only allow a portion to be shown.

I have been following this family for 3 years now, until when the Archan appeared in my dream again lately that I have decided to contact them again. It was the barami of SaengThai Founder that I knew them.

I have known many amulet traders but never one like SaengThai founder whom have close relations with Bangsek villagers, every piece to him, he can remember the history, the background and the miracles that accompanies with it (Just like the piece on the left, posted earlier.) We are not affiliated with others, please never believe when you hear people say they are with us. While some claim they are affiliated with us, some will outright despise us saying that we deal with fakes (only to come and collect from us from the back, such traders don’t want you to know where they get their amulets from.). I have met many hypocrites along the years in this circle. Anyway, let’s forget such and comeback to the topic.

I am indeed very lucky because other than being given the opportunity to study the scriptures and formulas. I was also given Pothan Kron’s kesa (hair) to be revered, to always receive Pothan’s blessings. The Archan has written a note saying that he has kept the kesa since 2500 (1957), he has informed all his descendants to keep it well together with Pothan Kron’s belonging (Pothan Kron’s kesa photo below). I have always kept bits and pieces of Pothan’s chivon with me, I now keep them together for veneration.

Finally, we are very happy to have Pothan Kron’s life size bucha ready. Total cost of making is THB170,000 not inclusive of transportation. From Bangkok to Hadyai is THB15,000 and Hadyai to Wat Buddha Jayanti Kuala Lumpur is RM1,200.

This Phra Hanuman Phong Phraiguman was made by Ven. LP Tim Wat LahangLai in the region of 2510 plus. Copper Takrut at the bottom.

The Thais, similar with the Chinese take Hanuman as a symbol of strength/ultimate strength, immortality, intelligence, superiority, power, a champion or a conquering hero. He is a great General with exceptional abilities and many faithful followers . He is a great deity that is bless with great Metta, loved by his Lord and also followers. Good Hanuman images are definitely favorites among Muay Thai fighters, police force, army force, spiritual practitioners, actors/actresses to name a few. Some of my Thai friends whom likes to play casino also love Hanuman images  because they say Hanuman hates to lose, he never loses!

About Lord Hanuman ( Vedic version)

Lord Hanuman symbolically stands for pure devotion, complete surrender and absence of ego or the lower self. His character tells us what we can do in our lives by becoming pure devotees of God, aligning ourselves with the forces of good, helping the weak, with self control, unconditional faith and total surrender. As a prominent warrior of the monkey race, he symbolically represents the lower or animal (neanderthal) nature in man, which when refined and transformed becomes stabilized in God and serves the divine cause in total surrender, just as it happened in case of Hanuman. As the son of Vayu, he represents symbolically the subtle bodies, namely the breath body, the mental body and the intelligence body. The breath body is responsible for the movement of life energy or prana in our bodies. It is especially strong in people who lead ethically clean and celibate lives, performing austerities, for which Anjaneya was particularly famous. The mental body is made up of the thought currents that float in our chitta or consciousness. It is responsible for our imagination, astral travel and dream experiences. The intelligence body is made up of buddhi or discretionary intelligence, which is considered one of the highest tattvas or principles of Nature. Our buddhi is said to be a direct reflection of divine intelligence. It is responsible for our decision making ability, rational thinking and conscience. As an epitome of virtue and supernatural prowess, Hanuman represents all these abilities. In this article we will examine the symbolic significance of Hanuman as the mental body representing the human mind and its various qualities and powers.

The mind is fickle (like a monkey) and jumps from place to place, going after things, engaging itself in innumerable activities that disturb the peace of the place. The mind, like Hanuman can also travel where it wants to. It can fly in the air, cross the continents and the worlds in an instant with the speed of thought and reach any one and anything it wants to mentally.
It can also expand or contracts itself at will (again like Hanuman). So long as it remains under the control of pure animal passions and the activities of the sense, it remains unstable and mischievous, causing a lot of the disturbance in the world of the individual.
But once it surrenders to the inner self and becomes devoted to it completely and unconditionally, it assumes miraculous powers and performs stupendous feats like Hanuman, working for the divine cause helping the lower self (Sita) and the Soul (Rama) to come together and become united.
By killing all the evil thoughts with its determination, it also lays a firm foundation for the kingdom of God (Ramarajya) to become established in the body. Hanuman is thus symbolically the mind principle ever absorbed in the contemplation of God and totally surrendered to Him.

Above feature is Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang Somdej Toh. The redness was attributed to the sirih pinang (betel leaves and nut) that Ven. Somdej Toh chewed upon. It was believed that this phim came about due to a group of Chinese paid a visit to Ven. Somdej Toh and requested Ven. to make Somdejs that are red color for them.

We still do till now, hear from some of our group members or others say,” I do so much dana already but yet my problems are not solved or I am still troubled!”. 

There is many angles to approach this subject, let me share one with you.

Ittirit is what we use to make our lives better, may it be a solution or a product. Let’s take car as an example. A new car, with a newest technology or the best engine oil or the best tyres in the world. I am sure you will have a smooth drive and a comfortable journey, Or it is powerful or good pick-up, it may even be very fuel efficient. But I am sure with even the best specifications on the car with the best accessories cannot prevent an accident.

Boonyarit is how we cultivate ourselves to make our lives better. The best specifications on the car with the best accessories at most only improve only on the structural or physical level or performance level. Imagine on one hand, a driver with a bull mentality and rough handling and another, a driver that is mindful of his drive, patience, practise courtesy on the road and maintains his car well. Which would you prefer to ride with? The answer is obvious and isn’t that METTA. People will naturally choose those whom cultivates well.  Virtues aren’t born in a day, it must be cultivated. And we must cultivate the right virtues eg. The 8 Noble Paths

We can wear the best Metta amulet but if we ourselves don’t cultivate right eg. we curse and swear often, how can we really have Metta? Amulets, kathas, holy water baths, rituals, danas etc only help 50% of the times but if we ourselves don’t put in the other 50% then we are being ignorant or being superstitious. Leaving our chances of betterment or improvements in life ONLY TO things like amulets, kathas, holy water baths, rituals, danas is plain stupidity. We MUST also put forth our best efforts with proper planning and execution. We must employ good logic, intelligence and above all wisdom. I am sure all of you have heard of the the wealthy devotees of Dhammakaya Foundation, who turned pauper.

Ven. LPu Sukh Kovito, this photo is taken in his 1st temple in Pichit, Wat Pa’ Phromviharn, the first temple Venerable built after practising as a wandering forest monk 30 over years and set his foot last in Pichit.

Currently, Ven. LPu is in Wat Pa’Phromnimit, in Sisaket, his hometown. Casting of the main Buddha image will postpone till next year March 2017 ( for the moment till advised again). Ven. LPu has given permission to us to make arrangements for him to make his rian (as informed in the earlier posting http://saengthai.org/?p=3055 ) . Ven. LPu wants the proceeds from all this rian to be used for :

  2. building of kuti(s)

I believe those whom are Dhammayut followers especially Archan Mun’s lineage should know very well such forest temple are mainly a place for practise. Ubosot is the most important, kutis and toilets are very important too because we hope to provide people whom aspire to practise with the meditation forest monks to have proper place to sleep and rest and also to keep their belongings when they have to leave for their meditation practice in the forest. Everyone knows how important toilet is…especially in the forest..as at now if I am not mistaken there is only 8 units of toilets shared among everyone.

Ven. LPu Sukh doesn’t really make amulets, though many people kept approaching Ven. LPu to make. I still remember last year’s Kathina was supported by a famous bank but when they were declined to let them make amulets, they dropped the Kathina the following year. Unfortunately this is the mentality of the Thais when it comes to such. That is why Ven. LPu Sukh, Ven. LP Seua Wat Donyaipeuan, Ven. ChaoKhun Thong Poon Wat BanPhen, Ven. LP Dam Wat Mai Naparam…etc always tell their Thais devotees SaengThai Malaysia followers are very different from you all, they are “uppatham” means unattached . They make dana because they believe in merits..they believe in accumulating good karmas. That is why the Committees always blame Ven. LPu that he loves only his God son , Nr. Ng in Malaysia and allow him to make amulets but always decline their own people. Ven. LPu admonished them this time, telling them. It was Ven. LPu ‘s decision to make everytime but Mr. Ng will pay for it then offered the amulets to the temple and when the amulets were all taken up (it always got taken up, so please book while there still is ), all the funds were donated to the temple. Ven. LPu said “wai jai dai” means can be trusted, Mr. Ng never intervene in the designs and how the amulets or the funds were to be used. He will get the best mould maker and craft till Ven. LPu is satisfied. So far Ven. LPu loved his rian Saema we make for Ven. 2 years ago, it is really beautiful I have to admit. It was snatched up once people got wind of it. We still remember, Ven. LPu held on to the trial mould rian, not letting go of it. We were very happy to offer something that Ven. LPu loved so much. (The Rian Saema below)

 

Some may ask, ” If Ven. LPu dont make amulets, then what are these for?” I dont know how to answer you all but all our teachers so far grant our request to sponsor amulets for them to be either given out to devotees or let them tamboon or rent from temple. Perhaps these Gaeji Archans knew we had very pure intentions…that is to give people the opportunity to collect something good. Ven. LPu Sukh’s amulets had many a times manifested miracles against firearms assault, bodily injury as a result of accident or assault. And Ven. LPu’s amulets, he said no need to chant any special katha, just chant Namo Tassa…thrice and think of him then tell Ven. LPu what’s your request.

Not only we want you to wear good amulets but we want the best for you( and please bear in mind, who will go to such extend to give you good amulets and give them away!) We got a few good Gaeji Archan, Mr. Ng requested from the other fellow disciples of Ven. LP Kreung Wat Sak KamPhaengYai eg. Ven LP Sao to give their blessings and also to contribute their yants to be melted with the rians. While I requested from Ven. LP Seua Wat Donyaipeuan for his blessings and yants to make this batch of rians for Ven. LPu.
